Fuck Trump seems like a valid enough reason to protest imo
I can't speak for them, but I suspect a lot of them just want to persuade people not to vote for Trump. Which as long as they obey the law is their right.

There may be some Republicans there who want convention rules changed or what not, but I am only speculating.

So, as I suspected the riots and the violence so far were just because they disagreed with someone else's choice of nominee. Sounds reasonable. I'm done playing stupid now.

Look you ignorant fucking piece of shit assholes. A candidate has the right to speak. Like it or not you small minded little left nazi bitches. Deal with someone having a different opinion than you without resorting to violence or shutting them down.

The republicans freed the slaves so show some fucking respect.

Do you think even they are dumb enough to think screaming "fuck Trump," "fuck you fascists," and physically assaulting people is done in order to convince people to change their vote?

Unless you meant they're trying to threaten people into being too afraid to go out and vote, in which case you may have a point.

I have a pretty big problem with people that have problems with free speech.

Let The Don talk!

I've searched, but all I can find as an answer is "fuck Trump". Perhaps I'm just stupid, so help a guy out please.

I think you've cracked the nut all by yourself, bud.

It's crazy that the left has a bunch of these people that cannot handle knowing someone will vote for another candidate. Honestly if Trump does win the election, I could see riots in a number of cities.

Are there any circumstances under which you would be ok with people protesting at a political convention?

I don't think the protesters have sherdog accounts.

Liberal logic: I'm all for free speech...as long as I agree with it!!!!111111

I think there are a lot of anti-Trump protestors who don't resort to these things.

This should be a very interesting and entertaining convention.

But I pray that nobody gets killed at this one. I honestly would be shocked if nothing goes down.
What's crazy is that there were 12 people shot in Cleveland last night, so I understand why the police are on edge. None of the shootings seem to be BLM or GOP convention related, though.

Cleveland is a cesspool, things will not go well.

It's gonna be one hell of a show. Cannot imagine it's going to go peacefully, and probably going to have a body count attached to it this year.

I hope not, but I think so.

I remember making a thread in January predicting this would be the most contested, violent election cycle since 1968. That there would be political killings, nationwide mass protests in the street, and that the conventions would look like fortresses because of the risk of violence. WR laughed it off.

It's happened. Things haven't been this heated up in nearly 50 years.

Told you so.

LOL did I see fucking Dana White on the list of speakers lol.
