Elections 2016 Democratic National Convention

No I was just saying he didn't really get anything done which was outlined in that article I posted. He was a career politician who didn't really do anything until he just so happened to find himself in the right place at the right time.

Does Bernie have a massive following from his own doing or did his brand of rhetoric just start to resonate with people at the right time.

Like I said he's the Ron Paul of he left, found himself in the right place at the right time.

Wait the "amendment king" got nothing done?

What do you mean by he didn't get anything done? He casts his votes just like every other Senator and spoke about the issues like every other senator. I would say he was much more involved than most in getting involved in national debates.

Yeah, he just got lucky :confused: Ron Paul couldn't hold Bernie's jock.

You can read it yourself.

Like I said, right place and time. If Warren had ran we probably wouldn't even know who Bernie is.

I don't care if you care, you quoted me. Read it or don't
I am asking you to make your point (maybe your point will spark my interest to do reading). What you're doing is lazy.

If you don't want to make your point that's fine, we can simply dismiss your earlier posts on this issue.

Bernie or bust about to make a big fuss in this roll call. Its like watching a kid throw themselves on the floor on the candy aisle when their mom said no.

I have heard they work long hours, or is it just staying in the office?

Junior guys usually have to work long hours, at the exec level they don't do shit and many of them are where they are through dumb luck, family connections and office politics rather than any meritocratic reason or that they worked their ass off.

There's lots of smart motivated people on Wall Street, but anyone who acts like it's some 10 hour shift down at the coal face is talking bullshit, especially at the higher levels. Case in point, me...I started off coding 15/20 years ago, I genuinely had to work my ass off, though as I said, not comparable to manual labor at all. Now I'm a consultant who just goes around telling people how to build their systems. I've been doing this shit for so long, it's easy for me and my day rate is crazy but people pay it all the time.

Now I'm just a gun for hire, what do you think these guys at the exec level, CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, etc are getting? And do you think it's an honest reflection of how much they contribute to the companies profits each year? Nope...but then people would say the same about me. The point is that I'm just honest about being part of a racket and don't fool myself with this Wall Street, meritocratic, 'I earned it all myself' bullshit, because I know that's not true.

I said he was an ineffective Senator.

You're response was hat he voted.

I posted an article outlining his ineffectiveness.

You asked why you should care.

Somehow now I'm lazy because of this chain of events.

Yeah, you are. You can't even explain why he is ineffective.

Are you unable to? For fucks sakes not even a summary of what's in there?
Article authored during primary campaign providing mostly anonymous dem congressional staffers and Barney Frank saying that he wasn't very effective. No hard numbers or comparisons to other Senators except for a anecdotal comparison to Warren by Barney Frank in which he states she has done more to protect Dodd-Frank than he has.

Pretty weak sauce.

Quit being lazy and read it

or don't

Here is where your opinion can go:

Thanks, glad I didn't waste any time.

So can anyone confirm that what Jane Sanders said yesterday is real?

Has Bernie's name been submitted for the nomination, or will we not know until the roll call?
