Ha ha ha... I woke up and checked my Facebook and Women's Rights News, the largest feminist source on Facebook, had a picture plugging Hillary, quoting her saying some soundbyte of "women's voices must be heard!" I looked in the comments. Turns out, even feminists don't like this woman.
"There cannot be true democracy until we....
Stop trying to get people to vote for Hillary just because she's a woman. I'm all for a woman president, but make sure it's a worthy candidate. Don't screw it up by putting a female criminal in office as the first woman president. Makes me sick."
"Oh Lawd..... Stop with all the Killary Support ... Just because she is a female doesn't make her worth a damn"
"Well you just ignored a whole generation of men and women who wanted someone different than you and denied them their voices in the voting process. So....let's start there."
"Yes that's why the Clinton Foundation pays their female employees less than men. Her VP is a fence sitter on women's rights. What about all the voices of Bernie's female supporters that were disenfranchised or were victims of voter suppression or fraud? We will not be crowning her president. I'll wait for the right candidate with or without a vagina."
"I feel like Hillary, as the 1st female nominee for president (in a major party), is really setting progessive woman back decades.
It's really hurtful, harmful, and not at all representative of what women are or have been trying to do for so long. "
And they go on and on. I'd say 80% of the comments are negative. Granted, this is a pitifully small sample, but I'm almost surprised she is generating such ire from a die-hard feminist source where people believe wholeheartedly in the wage gap, they routinely throw around terms like "male privilege" and quote Jessica Valenti...
So, who actually likes this woman again? Who actually wants her, rather than just not wanting a GOP candidate?
