jays getting 2 on and no outs and getting nada from it prob was the nail in the coffin. obv that offense can do work but you cant be coming up empty handed in those situations. same thing hap vs texas early in that series and jays dropped 2 games.

ump doing jays no favors with his weird strike zone. loved the montage of strikes by volquez with the box up there. 80% of them were high or a bit outside. he does get close tho and chump umps call those strikes its a long ass night. still jays needed to adjust instead of just keep on taking them.

Baseball is a tough sport to play, not normally, but for 162 games it is. If we were talking HS kids who play 20 games or something I'd consider them pussies, but these dude literally play everyday.
