Two things about Sam.

1. It's ridiculous how they pressed the issue this whole time about him. It shouldn't matter at all IMO.

2. It's ridiculous if his lifestyle led to him being by far the lowest drafted SEC defensive player of the year.

Dont know anything about him, but Oak only signed him because of his name.

He's a speedy back that runs upright, never seems to choose the right running lane, and takes forever to get to the hole when he does decide where to go. Cannot catch out of the backfield. His speed might make him somewhat valuable at kick returns (he was admittedly good at one time for ND doing that), but again with that...he doesn't seem to accelerate very fast or pick the right running lanes.

He had an attitude his last season (hence his declaring early) and didn't get along with Coach Kelly, mostly because he thought he should be the feature back despite being thoroughly outplayed by a true freshman.
