lol @ those pretenders. About the only way those two can teams can have a starter is by their own manager putting them in.

Must be nice to play mediocre baseball against can teams and still be in first place.

Home run derby is such a joke. Not even rustled that I'm going to miss it tonight. Won't have to hear bercan say BACK BACK BACK!! All night.

Cangels did it for years and still couldn't even win their division. lol

Lol cuz the nl west has always been a powerhouse. The padres were making the playoff with 80 wins during that time.

You mean 1998 when they won 98 games?

The AL West is home to the two worst teams in baseball.

The padres and diamond backs aren't in the al west.

Seagar getting promoted to double a. Hope he isn't included in any possible deal for Price.

Dodgers already said Seager, Pederson and Urias are off limits and that they won't be in the running for Price or Hamels.

Btw nice article on Urias at Yahoo Sports. What he's doing as a 17 year old is unheard of. He looked filthy yesterday at the futures game and Reds top prospect Michael Taylor said he was the best of the four pitchers he faced.

There's a legit chance he could be in the bigs next year at 18. Although if he's that early he'd likely work out of the pen for his first year.

Felix Hernandez is clearly on the same page as Aaron Hernandez.

Btw lol at a Phillies beat reporter telling me that a Ruiz/Papelbon package would easily bring Joc Pederson and more and that it's a trade likely to happen. Of course the same guy said Ellis was a mediocre defensive catcher and that Jansen wasn't mature enough to be a great closer(after arguably being the 2nd best closer in the NL in 2013 and 2012).

Thanks, it's crazy that the Dodgers got him during the same trip they went to evaluate Puig.

they also got Julian Leon who as absolute stud catching prospect. Maybe the most fruitful scouting trip ever. Could produce an ace, an all star right fielder and an all star catcher.

Lol at this HR Derby being rain delayed. I just flipped it on to see if anything had happened and they haven't even started.
