Getting out by John Danks is a huge sign. Vercander better have a 2nd half like last year if Detroit wants to make a run in the playoffs.

Took Matt Cain only 16 pitches to walk the bases loaded to start the game. Just issued his 4th walk of the inning.

Ouch, that's rough. Atleast Bumgarner is pitching better the last month.

Yup, and I really don't think that a second half resurgence is coming

I didn't last year either, but i don't think he will either. Guess we will all find out. Still has some good stuff, but he has been just terrible.

Trout robbed Cespedes and Crisp robbed Hamilton and it's only the 4th inning.

Really not sure what Farrell is thinking when he continues to stick with Jonathan Canrera at SS while Drew is out. When a guy needs to resort to bunting for base hits with the bases loaded or with 2 outs then get him outta here. Hopefully i never have to see him again once Middlebrooks gets back.

You think Middlecan has that spot still? You do remember he was awful, right?

Holt has been a godsend for you guys

Also, Bradley is terrible

Im talking about Canrera's spot. Obviously with Drew back Bogaerts is the 3rd baseman. Holt can play anywhere so he will be staying up with the team. Against lefties Middlebrooks will probably get a few starts and they can move Bogaerts back to SS.

Lucroy with another 3 hit game, guy is boiling lava hot. Peralta and the bullpen pitched great too, good win against the looming Mets.

Dugger told reporters that Gonzalez had a "fatty mass with tentacles" removed from his left index finger on Tuesday. It was a benign tumor that had been causing CarGo discomfort for much of the season. He's likely to resume swinging a bat at the end of June and should be back on the Rockies' active roster around the All-Star break.

That sounds disgusting

Wow, i am sure pictures of that will surface. That does sound gross though.

Damn, Cano ruined the Tanaka shut out.

Maybe the Giants should start taking these guys seriously. What a can week.
