Is anyone else sick of this "transfer rule" stuff? Seems like it comes up a few times a week now.

I think the majority find this rule to be pretty stupid. On top of not agreeing with it I'm pretty sure some middle infielders are going to be getting themselves hurt because of it... a bit silly considering how much they wanted to make the game safer for catchers with that rule on collisions at the plate.

And yeah if you don't want to see an opposing pitcher marveling at their home run then just don't give up a home run to the opposing pitcher.

Tony Gwynn has some hilarious Henderson stories. One of the best things is no matter where he was Ricky would always refer to himself in third person.

He loves doing his Rickey impersonation. I love when he talked about Rickey taking so many walks. He asked Rickey if it bothered him. Hearing Gwynn say 'no, that Rickey job. Rickey get on base' in his best Rickey voice still cracks me up.

Henderson was before my time (his prime years i mean) but I cant imagine how mad people would be over his antics in this day and age of more media exposure.

Anyway, found a video of Tabata hitting a double off the wall and walking out of the box on Thursdays game, nobody on the Brewers cared he did it. Lol Pirates, bunch of sensitive cans. Have fun in 4th place.

Rickey was a primary cause of rusticular cancer in his era. Between the 3rd person references, his trot, his base stealing (and celebrations) and his nonchalant, 'flashy' catches he drove purists nuts. He always seemed to get off on the rustlement though. He'd probably love it today.
