Strop would have done it late in the game anyway. Atleast this gives the Cubs a chance to score more runs.

James Russell has been nibbling a lot here lately... Its fucking him up. Hes looked like shit the last 2 outings.


Strop has been wild. He'll be alright though.
 
Justin Grimm has been really good out of the pen this year. The Cubs absolutely raped the Rangers the last two seasons with deadline trades.... Christian Villanueva, Mike Olt, Justin Grimm, Neil Ramirez AND CJ Edwards. For Dumpster and Garza rentals.
 
Agreed, Cubs won that by a landslide.
 
In other news.... Ryan Kalish still fucking sucks. He has been even worse in the outfield.
 
3 hit game for Starlin. I think its safe to say hes back to being himself. 1st and 2nd nobody out in the bottom of the ninth with Mr. Clutch, Louie Valbuena coming up.

On a side note, Jake Arrieta made his second rehab start and hasn't allowed a run yet. I think Arrieta could be pretty solid.

Lol. Stop expecting great things from Arrieta. He always does great when he gets sent down. I know his stuff looks great, but I'm telling you, he's a head case. First sign of advsersity he starts nibbling and walking everyone. Classic example of a Quadruple A pitcher. Enjoy.

Also, Strop isn't just a little wild. This is him. He's inconsistent. We shipped them off for a reason.

Yeah, just sucks that it probably won't be for the Dodgers. I bet he gets dealt at some point this season.
