Man, I love watching Simmons play. Does something awesome every game.
 
McCann can't catch a break. Hammers a ball into right field but gets thrown out because of the shift and how hard it was hit. SMH.
 
Cant wait for the 4 game set at Yankee Stadium, best place to snap out of an offensive slump.

Roenicke didnt want to move Segura, he liked that he hit 2nd last year. They tried a few combinations in spring training including Segura leading off but Gomez there worked the best for whatever reason.

Gomez isnt a typical leadoff hitter but he doesnt try to be one so thats why it works if that makes any sense. The Twins tried to do that with him and it didnt work.

We are going to visit my brother in law in N j Friday. Was wanting to go to the Saturday game but it's not gonna work time wise.

when you say it didn't work what do you mean? Gomez is a slugger, wouldn't you want at least one person on base in front of him?
