I love watching Peavy yell at himself. Not that I like watching him fail, but rather because it's just very... human... I dunno how to put it

I'm the same way. Obviously as a fan, don't want to see him fail, but the blow ups seem to humanize him as it's the way I react watching the game. I guess as a fan, you feel like he cares. It sounds silly and I'm sure they all care, but some guys play it off like meh when they fuck up. I'm sure they are just as pissed as Peavy but they keep their emotions in check.

Seems like Boston should be winning big with the way they have hit the ball combined with the game Lackey has pitched. Lots of runners lob.

Needs to be the last game Nava's leads off

give me Bogaerts leading off over him tbh

Interesting. Yankees' starters recorded exactly zero walks in four consecutive games. That has to be some kind of record.

The record is probably 35 way back in 1911 or some shit. That is impressive, though.

Was just about to cuss Farrell the fuck out for bringing in Crapuano for the 8th, then Big Fat Prince grounded into a DP like the can he is.

Great bunt by Bradley. Nice game for him. Responsible for all 3 runs knocked in and a couple good plays in rf.

Nava finally getting a hit. He was entering Stephen Drew playoff territory with the drought.

Will he get sent back to minors when Victorino is back?

Depends when he comes back, i could see them trading Carp. But if Nava continues to struggle then he could move to Center and shift Sizemore to left.

Moore with an elbow issue. Looked not so great. Like Grilli last year when he tried to go back up to the mound and get one more pitch.

I don't think so. Sizemore took another hard run into the wall tonight so he is obviously not being shy with his play. Even if he stays healthy, they don't plan to play him every day. Couple that with Victorinos injuries and Bradley could see significant playing time just playing their off days.

That's a big blow to the Rays pitching staff.
