Uruguay is a mixed team with average players and really good to world class players, like Suarez, Cavani, Forlan, Godin...

That seems to be the prevailing opinion among the Yanks. Feel sorry for him really, he's had some rotten luck in his career.

The 09' confed cup put me off on him fully, He seemed to take a little too much pleasure in scoring a brace against the country of his birth. I wish him all the best in his club career but hope he never plays a major tourny for the azurri.

He won't play in a major tourney. This world cup was pretty much his last chance.

He'll be 29 for the Euro, 31 for Russia 2018. Not done yet, especially not in Italy. Only going full can or another injury would cross him out.

BTW...so you have to rock a Bork AV for losing that Donaldo bet, Canti? Should have been an Ultimate Warrior instead, LOL.

Hahaha...except I think it's about Lesnar's MMA career not his pro wrestling career. This av/sig sucks....

I'm calling it now. The standout young player of the 2014 world cup will be Raheem Sterling of England/Liverpool. Watch his value sky-rocket.

It's going to be difficult, but who reckons they makes it out of the group stage? If so, at who's expense? That's a really tough group.

I would've said Danny Sturridge. The man will be the next 100M after the WC. Either him or Suarez

Is Sterling really expected to get much time on the pitch?

I'm thinking the same. Woy will pick Welbeck no matter if he dies on that sword.

Should put Sterling at RB, anyone is better than Johnson.

I wonder why Woy doesn't put Milner there tbh. He has a serious thing for that chap.

Watching Brasil x Panama

Brasil XI:

J.Cesar
D.Alves
D.Luiz
Dante
Marcelo
Ramires
L.Gustavo
Oscar
Hulk
Neymar
Fred

Nope. I think Italy and Uraguay will make it out.

England could draw all 3 games, win all 3 and make the semis, beat Uruguay/lose to Costa Rica.

They are really hard to predict in this tourney- expectations are pretty low, though.

One thing about England is they very rarely get thrashed.

this Brazilian team has flair up front and the pace and directness when necessary to really light the tournament up this year. Not an impossible out by any means for an upper echelon nation, but they are clear favorites for the tournament at this point. Having Neymar and Hulk in the side at the same time poses so many problems for the other team...goals can literally come from anywhere.

Canama owned Mexican and now they're getting stuffed.

Brazil is gonna besmirch them to bolivian.
