L'Equipe is reporting Ribery is out. His back is totally fucked up.

So does Croatia have a chance to steal the opening game?

Griezmann isn't a bad replacement for Ribery though. He's much faster and makes better runs.

But who will be the eye candy for the ladies?

Wouldn't really surprise me. Croatia could def win the midfield battle and punish Brazil if they're not taken seriously

He'll get the prostitutes to rub his sore muscles. Always worked for Tyrion.

It'd surprise the hell out of me.

Since 1994, Brazil have 12 wins and 2 ties and 1 loss in group play. They're excellent. If Croatia even manages a tie it'd be a huge upset.

Brazil really has to be the favorites. In 2010 and 2006, the teams that knocked them out played hard, physical defense and bunkered after they managed to score.

Germany, Spain and Argentina are all offensive and open. Italy might have the defense but they don't have the talent to score on Brazil. Netherlands or Uruguay? Nah.

On other hand Croatia played well against Spain and Italy in last Euros. Croatia has Jelavic and Mandzukic upfront + Modric, Rakitic and Perisic midfield is solid. Their defense and goal keeper are decent too.

Due to Brazil odds winning the opening game being really low, might aswell bet on draw. Croatia has the squad to get a draw.

Knowing that Croatia has very low odds of winning it all, it's all about who I LEAST want to see win. That list is as follows:

Italy
Portugal
Greece

All 3 represent headaches who will have enough representatives in Toronto to remind me for the next 4 years who won.

Cabella and Schneiderlin will replace Ribery and Grenier.

That makes it 7 Southampton players at the World Cup. 8 if you wanna stretch it to include Lambert.
