I went out on the piss a few times with Lee Sharpe. Had a mate I played with end up at Torquay, where Sharpe was and he'd travel back with him for the odd wkend pissup. . Also had a mate at Lilleshall who went onto Utd's Academy & befriended Sharpe when he got the big move there.

Had so much fun. Proper big personality, funny as fuck & f'n deadly with the chicks.

I'd save your pity party for him, dude lives life to the max.

Yeah more a fall from grace than a tragedy and he got Abby Titmuss at least off that show.

He was seen as a super talent, Leeds paid big money, he was considered a massive signing by them.

More an underachiever but I actually thought Sharpe was loaded with ability. You might know then, is it true he had meningitis or something.

Because at the time I rated him very highly.
