Feel like last year was a tranisitionary one, when you look at like two years ago, whole different set of people and they only reached like 30-something threads the whole season

The old Prem thread was a great place but lets not get too sentimental, it'd gotten stale.

It's turned into more of a chat thread now and whilst some OT elements have seeped in the crew here are solid enough to realize the Prem thread is greater than the sum of its parts.

You're only as good as your last post in here, you earn your respect. There's no Kings nor Kingmakers. There's no gangs, or should i say ganging doesn't work in here as there's too much strength from all sides and everyone has each others back & has the nous to understand balance is healthy & uses it to self-correct our place.

Yeah, this place has become great. We all did good work.

I left you a midnight love note to watch with your tea, don't be a bitch.

It's not a high horse, it's just a fact.

Never really had beef with anyone except you. You seem to have it with most.

Like I said before, I try to ignore you. It's a lot easier if you stop mentioning or quoting me.

Fair enough. Bloke can I borrow that body bag back? He won't care if it still smells like Cher.

As far as Cardona,
If anything, i'd assume Luiz felt he was spending too much time on the internet & felt he needed a clean break/hiatus from here to get more productive IRL.

Compliment to us all really. We are the Heroin of Sherdog.

Do you guys prefer game weeks like this one? With the matches being during the week instead of the weekend.

Personally I don't care for it since being on the West Coast means the games are always on when I'm working. Weekend matches are better, imo.

I'm not betting on this one for once. I just want to see a good fight and watch it as a neutral. Would be nice to see the first Euro champ of the modern UFC though.

Not modern. Not divisional. But my favourite ever fighter.

Quite possibly the toughest man to ever fight in MMA.

I like Saturday 3pm kick offs. Wednesday 7.45pm/8.00pm kick offs. Mid-week games are a necessity, otherwise you'd end up with a 42 week season.

Everything else is annoying, imo. Monday games especially. Next season they are introducing regular friday night games. Not a fan of that either.

Kyle level loyalty.

The winner is sorted. Are you gonna help me build Tules up, or just sit there with your pipe and newspaper?

I'm assuming you are in the uk?

I'd imagine the game times are better for you. 3pm on saturday seems like a stellar time for the games. but here on the west coast it can be a bit early which makes it hard to follow at times.

Apparently the attendance figures are up so they're trying to get away with more matches at weird times and more on TV.

They're copyong the NFL's lead by filling the sporting calendar up with as much Tv content as possible to pay that 5bn Tv bill.

Shouldn't be too long now before they start discussing how to get 3pm Saturday games shown live on Tv. RIP Lower Lg's.

Never knew that. Sounds silly.

Brit tv with football is as bad as US tv with American football, there is the audience to show every match on TV, but the kernts don't do it, because capitalism.

I'm actually living in Bulgaria, so everything is actually + 2 hours to the times I stated.

When the PL began in 1992-93, if memory serves, around 80% games were Saturday 3pm. Now I'd wager it is closer to 50%.

I used to have a season ticket at Newcastle (I know, I know). And 3pm saturday was perfect. Few beers before hand, and the option to go on the lash straight after if desired.
