So you're saying that if Suarez and Sturridge both played for Everton or Spurs instead, in the same form, that their league positions wouldn't be switched.

I hear your point, and while a manager can wreck a club, all Rogers had to do was not completely fuck up and Pool were going places this year. All the accolades that does not make. I recon any manager in the top 10 could have coached them to that success, well except Moyes :icon_lol:

I guess I'm saying that players win matches, not coaches.

Yes, players do win matches, but coaches setup tactics and pick teams that either maximises the players potential to win matches or can make it harder to win matches.

Liverpool have lost KEY players to injury/suspension during the whole season, two of whom were the players Bruce gives all of the credit to, and Rogers still kept them in the title contention throughout.

Henderson's transformation alone has been a real eye opener. They didn't even miss Gerrard.

Astonishing really considering their average defence & lack of squad depth.

No where near as bad as Arsenal and probably even Man City.

That said, to claim BR hasn't done very well is dumb (even without Europe to worry about).

Lol Barcelona banned from signing players for two transfer windows by FIFA after breaching rules on the transfer of under-18 players.

I'm sure they'll appeal and get some or all of that removed. Still it seems FIFA want a Castilian champion.

Also, how much money do Spurs have? They never make the CL, they consistently outspend us in the transfer market, and they're building a big new stadium in the next 3 years.

Our stadium is slightly bigger though. I mean if a chick was driving round north London, and checked out both our stadiums, they'd notice ours was a bit bigger. Just saying.

Dat Jewish money.

Spurs have money but lets see how they manage with the debt a Stadium brings. Even spending silly money they keep failing to hit the heights they want, when that money is going towards the new stadium and not on players they could end up in trouble.

You would probably also notice that Spurs has won a trophy in the last eight years.

I can't remember if you're a gooner or can utd fan, but either way that is bullshit.

west ham will have the biggest stadium soon

If results go the right way this weekend it looks like Leicester is heading back into the PL next year

1. We're a well run club who are consistently profitable.

2. Our net spend is actually minimal. Over the last 4-5 years we've actually made money in the transfer market. Everyone bangs on about us spending a ton this summer, but they forget we actually made a profit with the players we sold.

3. The stadium has been costed, we'll probably have to tighten our belts for a few years like Arsenal did but long term it will obviously be beneficial.

I just looked it up, and to put that into context, since the window at the start of the 09/10 season, we've made a

Liverpool have used a make shift back 4/5 majority of the season. Glen johnson has been up and down. Jose Enrique has missed practically all season, Agger was hurt, Sakho was hurt, Skrtel has scored as many own goals as he has regular goals. Flanno has been the only consistent player and was a back up. Don't even get me started on Aly. Sturridge was out injured for a month. at one point there was only 15 fit players.

But back to BR has changed the mindset of the players. There are many games that Liverpool have won this year, that last year would have lost or at best tied. He def deserves credit for this team. Liverpool have essentially the same team as last year and with Suarez in the same form. So credit has to be given to BR.

As of 4/2 LFC is midtable in terms of injuries this season
