Man I've seen about five articles floating around saying poyet is leaving to [Insert team here].

Shit is ridiculous.

Yep.

Rumors are poyet has a walk for free clause and he's gonna go to west ham. Borini is a bit Interested in staying ( according to what he's recently said)

Its rumors galore

I might be getting ahead of myself here, but I get the impression something may happen here.

Borini calling SSN the day after we secured survival saying "I don't know if I'm staying, it's up to Liverpool", rumors his dad is going to come to the game this weekend and now his agent saying we want him. I'm hoping he's decided he'd like to be a part of Gus's plans for the future here and we're acting swiftly on all fronts to try and push a deal through.

But then again with Liverpool securing champions league I'm sure they're gonna want depth. Even if Suarez leaves I don't see him starting in his place

Well it is Sunderland. Its not like were gonna land a messi, Ronaldo, Suarez type right.

Hell I've heard rumors we might try to coax welbeck back to us.

Here's a transfer update breakdown on Liverpool from Tony Barrett:

Moses, Cissokho, Aspas and Alberto (Loan hopefully) are out (Note: Assaidi missing though he is likely gone).

We're after 3-5 starters though that doesn't seem right but whatever

Lallana, Caulker, Song, Kono are some names. Vorm (Don't worry Zer, doubt this) is coming up as well for backup keeper. Both Caulker and Song are steals if the 8m tag is true.

Suarez ain't leaving. Borini is needed for depth. Suso should be back.

But where does borini fit? I have a feeling the only time borini starts is in early rounds of domestic cups and should Suarez or Sturrridge get injured. Other than that he's playing third fiddle after sturridge. Unless he's brought in to hive either I'd the two some rest.

And as a player would u rather be on the sub list with an off chance to play or on the starting XI of a smaller team where you know they want you.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't see us landing borini, but a bid around 10m doesn't seem out of the question especially if poyet reassures him of starting.

But then again I don't know much and am going off what I've read/heard
 
10 Million for Borini? Liverpool should take that and laugh.

He fits in part of a team fighting multiple fronts. Liverpool's biggest issue is depth, why would we release a player who is exactly that? He's only 23, he has plenty of time to prove his worth. Is he ahead of Luis or Daniel, course not. Is he perfect for domestic cup games and league games were Luis or Daniel need rest...yes.

I'm not a player. I'm not him. Some players want to fight for their positions against other players, some don't. Up to him. He doesn't come across as a player satisfied just being out there playing. At the end of the day, what Liverpool wants is more important. Ask Luis.

He's not CL quality.

Would be shocked if Liverpool turned down 10million for him.
 
23 is young enough.

Doubt he plays CL.

Aspas and Assaidi are on the outs. That would be 3 forwards gone. Seems risky.

BR is a fan of him, He was a big talent when a youngster at chelsea. lets not forget he has beeen one of the star performers in a team battling relegation which shows he is not flakey and can be relied upon.

He is actually a really talented player and I would love to keep him at Sunderland. good enough to play regular for Roma and for liverpool to pay a big fee.
