Cashley staying on dat money train

Not the most ambitious signing for Citeh at this point though. Suppose it could be a combination of the reduced CL squad size and the homegrown quotas, Citeh gonna be trying to snag English players this window?

Send them Carrick, Cleverly and Young.

lol, City are offering Boyata (he has only played once this season for them) double his salary because he counts as a homegrown player.

City's window went from Mangala @

Ain't there a table where Can City would be in relegation places without the foreigners' goals?

They're gonna pay Anderson Silva money for any jabroni with a British passport.

What if I tell Liverpool has done and might do this again with Lallana.

Hardly in a position to talk.

But Liverpool has to cover 2 spots max. There's Hendo, Sturridge, Sterling and whoever remains between Flanagan and Johnson, or both. And Stevie for the next couple of seasons.

City will have to fill more spots, and they'll make it rain like an Indian monsoon if they have to.

I can already see that 25 m bomb for Lallana happening. If serious, hopefully not that high.

He would fit right in but at a right price.

Hendo and Lallana on the same squad, that work rate would be a lot for teams to deal with.

I would be happy if Ayre doesn't get besmirched for the third transfer window in a row.

No question signings are happening this window.

Need depth, have money. Simple.

It will be fun window with United, City, Arsenal, Pool, and Chelsea going after it.

Both MUFC and Liverpool have been pretty poor in the transfer market in recent years. Both have only made 2-3 good signings against several average/bad signings.

The Saints would be stupid to sell for less, in theory they could be looking at

I'm more excited about the transfer window than I am about the World Cup. Annoying that the WC's around the delay business actually

Such blasphemy! How dare you prefer the money fueled shenanigans to the beautiful game. Agree though.

Who do you think United will pick up?

Kroos, Reus, Khedira, Germany?

Agreed. I can't wait for teams to start throwing money out there. So many teams in need. Maybe some hijackings :icon_twis

It'd be cool to see a German invasion on the Premiership. Like Draxler to Arsenal as well. If Reus is available I expect that'd turn into the big saga of the window with a number of clubs going for him.

I doubt Kroos or Muller will end up in the Premiership though. Bayern are no mugs

Would be cool to see Fabregas return to the Premiership as well. Brenton must fancy him, and he has CL clout behind him now ...

The guy I would love to see return, though no chance of it happening is Luka.

Pleasure to watch.

I'd say CB is almost as much a priority as CM now. Hummels would be ideal.............it's funny that having never had a German at the club, we've been linked with them all this summer.

Incidentally, if MUFC are planning on spending 200million as reported, would that not fuck them up in FFP? Especially with no Champions League? Has any team ever spent that much in one summer? I suspect that figure is massively exaggerated.

Yeah, think he is seen as second only to Ronaldo at Madrid at the moment.....and to think his own fans were booing him last year.
