cesc buyout clause is 40m arsenal or anyone will have to pay that for barca to let him go
With Xavi being 34 and retirement being close if they let Cesc go well then.

Not necessarily. That means Barcelona cannot stop him moving if a club offers this. They may still decide to accept an offer which is lower.

Rumours are they want rid of him.

45 m.

But that's not exactly what I'm talking about anyways, though I don't believe the buyout clause works for selling him back to Arsenal for 50% upon purchase, rather than anywhere else he is sold to over 35 m getting Arsenal some of dat sweet sweet monies.

Rumor. Discussing.

Aren't they after Koke as Xavi's replacement?
No idea. That would be a good replacement, no idea if Koke wants to join Barca though.
I got a feeling if Barca do sell Cesc, they would get someone from Dortmund or Bayern, possibly Alcantara back.

BTW aren't Arteta, Rosicky and Flamini over 30?

How much more mileage do gunners expect?

They could do with maybe snatching Alex Song back from Barca while they're at it. Available for like

Maybe Luis Enrique dont like him for some reason?

I sure you know more than I do with La Liga teams but read Barca is going to have a big transfer window so Cesc and Song could free up some cash for players like Vidal and Rakitic.

No way Fabregas is going to ManU. If he leaves Barsa, and thats a big if, hes going back to Arsenal. I dont care if we have too many midfielders, Cesc playing "false nine" would score +20 goals a season, easily.

I don't even know what Cesc does for Barca whenever I've watched him this season.

At Arsenal, he was the driving force of the team.

Arsenal fan?

I never understood barca buying Cesc in the first place. Made little sense. Iniesta shouldn't move for anyone.

Two players outside of Liverpool I miss watching the past few years in the Premier is Luka and prime time Cesc.

Was just thinking maybe Cesc goes to Juve. If he goes to England its Arsenal, Dortmund maybe. Doubt he goes to Bayern, although Pep is there. PSG and Monaco have money + Valdez is going to Monaco. Thats it pretty much.

Cesc + some cash for Vidal.

They're saying Cesc wants a move back to England.

I saw an interview of his where he said he preferred playing in Barca because he now has a 'role' in the team, whereas at Arsenal he could roam around and do whatever he wanted. That's the sort of role which he did his best though.

Here it is:

Cesc scored 15 & 14 goals in his first two seasons with Barsa - not playing every single game, mind you, playing besides one of the greatest scorers of all time. If you think a "free of defensive duties, lonely forward" Cesc couldnt score 20 goals a season playing alongside with brilliant passers Cazorla, Ozil and the likes you know little about Fabregas and football in general.
