Yeah, He was born in Newcastle and is a Geordie.

Graig gardner and Bardsley are leaving on a free, Borini, Ji, are only on loan. bit of a worry TBH.

Considering Everton still have to play City, I reckon Arsenal could have 4th place all but wrapped up if we beat Newcastle on Monday

Yeah, I'd say so as well all things considered. It is what makes the summer so critical. There really are no excuses anymore, you need to spend and get the required players in. Your core group is plenty good enough to challenge for the title you just need some more depth and obviously a quality striker.

It being a World Cup year, I think we should prepare for a summer of late deals at over-inflated prices!

lolz, I was just thinking that as I finished typing. Built in excuses galore for Mr Wenger, (if he stays on) not enough value in the market etc.

Do you think the club has the money/desire to buy a few 20m+ players in one window? If that's what it takes I mean, given as you say it's a WC year.

Well, ever since David Dein left, our handling of transfers has been shambolic. We are missing someone like him and we need to bring Usmanov into the fold more too. With him on board, money would be no object, cuz he is that damn wealthy!!

We need change. Probably won't get it though!

Sadly, not yet. He definitely needs to pick himself and make himself captain for the last game, because I reckon it would be his last as a player.
 
Spurs look awful and they are only playing against 10 men.

What's the point in playing Rio and Vidic at this stage.
