200 rappers who died in 2020

i guess you would have to get paid for it but even getting paid 1 cent would count as being a pro rapper.

Then your chances of getting into a "beef" go up exponentially, do they not?

Fred The Godson truly was on God Level.
As time passes his semi-greatness should shine through. Frederico whadup !!!
Sucks about Shock G and Prince Markie Dee

Not my favourite genre but I respect people's right to live.

But not their shit culture of materialism by any means possible.

The most toxic rappers of the last 20 years has been 50 Cent.

Not because of his rapping or even him as a person, but due to his life story in the 'Get Rich Or Die Trying' movie its inspired the entire rap industry and to an extent the entire black community that 'street cred' is the main factor in the success within the rap industry.

Basically it sent the message to young kids inspiring to be rappers they have to be legit criminals, aka 'gangstas,' to be become legit recording artists making millions.

So, they really are 'Getting Rich or Die Trying.'

I'm not saying its the sole reason, because the Rap & Black Community weren't exactly perfect before 50 Cent, but he's one of the biggest reasons why the 200 rappers are being killed within 1 year.

They're not being killed because they're rappers, they're getting killed because they're 'gangstas.'

Edit - I want to clarify I did watch the OP video and acknowledge that 'Gun Violence' isn't the only cause of death, but its definitely the majority, next to 'Drug Overdose.'

Anyone find it ironic the rapper named 'Kingg Shooter' died of Covid-19?

Is Vanilla Ice still kickin? That guy was for real. :)

How about that guy who did the song where he grabbed some ho's crotch...... and it was a dude? Had a really raspy voice. That song was pretty good.

Alot of people died in 2020, not just "rappers."

Do you mean Tone Loc, wild thing?

Its not about rap. It's not about rappers
It’s the thuggish ruggish boneee

Edit: Pretty sure its “We’re not against rap, we’re not against rappers”
But we are against those thugs

Back in my day rappers shot people, now they generally are the ones getting shot.

let's ask Trudeau to apologise. I am sure he'll do it.

I grew up with Public Enemy, Tribe Called Quest, and Ice Cubes first 3 solo albums. While I'm sure there's good rap underground most of the modern stuff is auto-tuned mumble garbage.

And George Floyd was one of them. That’s how low the bar is. Upload one shitty song to YouTube and boom you’re considered a rapper.

That's like saying 200 YouTubers when most of them have no views or fans.

I don't think there's 200 country music singers that died due to gun violence over the last 100 years.
