2 Vacant Bellator Titles?

Anyone know the details of the Bellator heavyweight and lightweight belts being vacated? I assume Vitaly Minakov won't be returning to Bellator anytime soon but what the heck happened with Will Brooks? He is going to the UFC?

They released Brooks (contract expired in July anyways) and stripped Minakov only for inactivity, there isn't a good source which we can trust about his current contract situation. He is fighting again for EFN though

All their champs are easily top 10. Dantas, Mo, Lima, Thompson, Henderson are all top 10. Davis is top 5.

We don't know the details of the current situation wth minakov, but they couldn't do anything with brooks.
They offered him a contract, brooks didn't want it. He said it was a nice contract, but he simply didn't want it. What else could Coker have done in a situation like that? Hold him hostage the way bjorn did with Alvarez?

Minakov thing is weird, he hasnt fought for you in two years, says he wont, you just stripped him, he's not a star or a big name so why wouldnt you release him?

Its not like its Rampage who is gonna go to UFC and be a big name and help them. Lets face it Minakov is a nobody really to US audience.

Only reason you dont release him is to be a dick and keep him from fighting in US/UFC.
