Is there a coincidence in Fedor and Cruz both being critized for swinging wild punches?

I think not. Let the Goats be Goats!

You dont critize Lebron for passing the ball, thats what he does. You dont critize Curry for taking bad shots, thats what he does.

Fedor used his "wild punches" to set up deadly and creative takedowns and submissions.

Cruz used/s his "wild punches" to create unpredictable striking angles, crazy combos, and enhance in/out movement.

Get real, this isnt boxing

Cruz? lol

more like Fedor and Hendo. Both threw looping off balance shots but could get away with it as their grappling was so strong, they hit hard as fuck, and had solid chins.

Cruz is different in that he focussed on lateral footwork and breaking rhythms.

I don't think they are as criticized as you try to make them.

Maybe you should have an espresso before making another thread.

What a strange thread.

Cruz is wild but I'd class him more as unorthodox, and it worked for him the vast majority of his career, until he fought someone with sound boxing who was faster than he was, Cody made him look like a bar room brawler at times.

Fedor, especially later in his career, just liked to bang, and we should let him man.

Deontay Wilder is a bum bro, deadly reach and killer right hand. Thats it. Mike wouldve slept him in one.

Everytime i see someone bashing Fedor and Cruz's striking always brings up their "wild" punching technique, and while they might be right... You cant knock the Goats for something they used to their advantage and are succesful with.

I think you are reading too many threads about Fedor from the same hater that seem to be flooding the Heavies recently. Ignore his threads and the problem will disappear.

The problem is mma fans have an inferiority complex and think mma fighters should use orthodox boxing techniques when they strike instead of doing what works for them and their individual style in their long and highly successful mma careers.

Their opponents kinda let them get away with the wild punches, but whenever opponents reacted well, Fedor always had a plan, he knew the best way to avoid them, so he calculated his opponent would "do that" and when he threw it, he was already moving to counter the reaction - this was his real secret to success, Fedor was a thinking man's fighter. Cruz is NOT a GOAT, but maybe a goat? Not a goat but also not a GOAT.

In mitten dancing, all you're allowed to do is mitten-slap, so yeah, you have to be careful - you also ONLY have to watch out for mitten slaps in return, so... But, in MMA, you have to worry about everything, and this changes the complexion of the fight because you can throw a wild punch to hide a roundhouse head kick. You can throw a feint jab while charging at the ankle for a takedown. So, in MMA, there are some people who make strategic use of "sloppy" styles, by goading and baiting their opponents into making a mistake by trying to capitalize.

Cruz's last fight with Faber proved he's the GOAT 135er

Being a 40-0 (39 ko's) undefeated world champion boxer now makes you a bum, apparently. And this is according to someone who's reached the pinnacle of success, an anonymous internet troll.

Go figure.

Mike couldn’t beat good big men. He would fold like he always did when guys fought back.
