The ISWA will be awarding a cash prize in the amount of $1000 at the Las Vegas International Open this April 15th to the athlete in the Men's Senior competitive division who performs the "Most Submissions in the Least Amount of Time. The award will go to the competitor with the most submissions in the tournament. However if there is a tie between athletes for number of submissions then the total amount of time for all submission victories will be added together and the athlete with the most submissions in the least amount of time will be awarded the prize. There will also be a special award for the "Outstanding Submission Wrestler" in the Men's Senior competitive division. ISWA Officials, Representatives and Coaches will vote on this award.

So does that mean you have to be 75 years old to qualify?

There are two main divisions: Men's Competitive and Men's Non-Competitive.

I don't see any information on the distinction between competitive and non-competitive.

I also wonder about the following statement: *Competing below skill level may result in tournament dismissal.

Non Competitive is for grapplers with less than 2 years experience. However, that is not to say that an athlete with less than 2 years cannot compete in the competitive division, that is up to his discretion or his instructors. The $1000 submission prize only applies to those in the competitive division.

Thank you for the clarification.
