80's because I love sitcoms. But it is kind of comparing apples to oranges since TV is so different between the two points in time.

In a way the evolution of TV shows have changed yes. But just for the sake of conversation and for fun, I thought I'd ask anyways. : - )

All good. TBH I try watching modern TV and I just can't. Even good shows I lose interest after a few seasons. So much commitment.

Yah Modern TV is less relaxing and more investment to it. Takes a lot out of you.

no ,cmon ,you have true detective, breaking bad, etc etc in 2000s, i think its an easy win for 0s.
Some cool shows from 80s too , but , lets be honest

Yah I understand, but True Detective was released in 2010s.

The golden age of television began in the 2000's the 80's had some good shows but no where near as good as from 2000 on.

LOL. Next.

I would think 90s and 00s would be a better comparison

Id say 90s was the king of sitcoms, even the 2 best ones from 80s list married with children and full house were tail end of 80s, mostly ,90s

80s shows were way funner and more light hearted.

2000s shows were way more graphic and hardcore.
