Frazier was past it when he fought Foreman. Could a prime Frazier do any better?

He could have maybe done a bit better, but Foreman was all wrong for Frazier.

i've always wondered this, most people don't really realize how diminished Frazier was by that Ali fight, he was in the hospital for like a month and literally almost died, part of that were his health problems minus the fight, high blood pressure but he put everything into that fight, he absolutely was never the same (neither was Ali really). However, after seeing George bomb the man out that way makes it hard to see any version of Joe winning. Skillwise, he kills george but when your opponent can hurt you with blows that don't even hardly land and then follows them up like that, i don't know. It's a great question, Joe had great defense for the first Ali fight, ali himself said he was the hardest thing in the world to hit. but, ali hit him a lot, he missed badly just as much but he still hit him, the big question is could joe make it to the mid rounds when george's shaky stamina would crash down on him? If he could do that, Joe would kill him, it's a question that i don't think is that easy to answer.
