yeah but what is he gonna do? his kicks are weak, groundgame non exsistent, if his eft doesn't work, what is he gonna do?He more or less admitted in the press conference that he was ineffective with the wheel kicks and spent too much energy throwing them. He's a pretty smart guy I think he'll be back stronger. This isn't the fucking video game, spamming the kicks doesn't work that great.
I'm no expert by any means but I think he should focus more on boxing fundamentals and BJJ. Get back to his roots, don't abandon the crazy kicks and movement bs, but put it on the backseat to the fundamentals.yeah but what is he gonna do? his kicks are weak, groundgame non exsistent, if his eft doesn't work, what is he gonna do?
I don't. I think the aura is gone and now the contenders can see what his weaknesses are...and he has many of them. He's a pretty smart guy I think he'll be back stronger.
I think that he will be lacking the "mental edge" he had in his prior fights, I think he was genuinely in pretty much everybody's head, and that won't happen any more. In the post fight presser though he seemed to be very aware of his mistakes already, and I think that indicates that he's going to take the right steps to try and correct them. He'll never beat any good welterweights and I don't think he'll be a dominant force at lightweight either, top 10 at best; but at 145 he will still be a tough guy.I don't. Perhaps behind Edgar and Aldo. That 13 second KO will always be a fluke to me, unless he can do it again.; but at 145 he will still be a tough guy.
