Why is Dana so mad when someone brings that up? Why is he so stubborn? Didn't make 1 legitimate argument against creating the division, there are literally so many fighters in both divisions that would benefit from that since LW and WW have the most fighters and are these weight classes are the most popular ones. He only mumbles something about fighters jumping from 1 weight class to another all the time and that would create chaos. That's true, but only for a certain amount of time.
And that's exactly what started to occur when Dana created women's feather and fly weight classes. Somehow that didn't cross his mind when creating these? Was that a bad idea? Yes, but only because WMMA sucks and we don't need more of it, but aside from that it only benefits everyone. More titles= more champions = more entertainment = more title fights = more money = etc. = fucking everything = profit.
Ranked fighters in both weight classes that would be a good suit in 165:
And these are only the ranked ones, there are multiple of unranked good fighters that go under the radar and are having a tough ass time getting through the crowd of popular fighters.
I'm not saying we should have a weight class every 5 pounds like it's the case in boxing, that being said i don't think moving welterweight limit to 175 would be a problem.
