International 13 US Servicemen and at least 90 Afghani Citizens Killed by ISIS Bomb at Kabul Airport

Calling the success of the evac a "disaster" is getting more ridiculous by the hour.
We're set to leave thousands behind. Bragging about how fast we were able to evac people is besides the point. It was a bungled unorganized mess, and moving forward we're looking at hostage situations over there and possible terrorist threats over here.

There’s gonna be some beheadings on the internet that’s for sure..

You do know those numbers are counting from May 1st right now in the last two weeks...
Well shit, I guess that means our team failed there.

You really should knock it off with the "we're deserting people" nonsense, especially when you discount and pretend it doesn't matter that we've successfully evacuated the country in incredible numbers when nobody in their wildest dreams thought it would go anywhere near as well as it did. Previous administrations kept us there for at least the last decade for no other reason than they didn't want the horrible optics politically.

Praise our military and the way we exceeded expectations in leaving. People calling this a disaster or a failure are just political hacks.

How to withdrawal from a country 101:
Civilian first
Military equipment second
Everybody else last.

Biden turned a withdrawal into a defeat; cost thirteen Marines their lives and we left 250 Americans behind.

Fox news is already dismissing those left behind saying they're dual citizens that are choosing to stay.

The media was your pal in trashing Biden...until they realized the evac from Afghanistan has basically become a miracle in progress lol. 112k saved in 15 days.

After a twenty year war, the Taliban are better equipped; media savvy; and more trusted by the West

TOTAL TALIBAN VICTORY.

WHAT A DISGRACE!

You can spin it that civilians don't count!

No credit given to Biden. Everybody knows that you evacuate civilians FIRST.

You can spin it though!

Obviously our guys on the ground have done well given the circumstances. But why should I "knock it off"? You dont have any relevant point besides going on and on about how many people we were able to jerk out of the country at the last moment because of how bad the entire pull out was executed to begin with.

We wouldn't have had to do anything this unorganized and rapid if they had executed any kind of sound, conceivable plan. But they failed at pretty much every level, its actually almost amazing how badly this went.

And your over here spiking the football of how many we got out. Lmao your ignoring the weapons and vehicles we left them, the deaths on both sides, the total taliban control, the sensitive information we left them, the fact that were leaving thousands. We're betraying our allies. The possibility of hostages and terrorists here now. And theres even more to come. Even your own side has recognized this.

looks like a mission victory cut scene from like call of duty or some shit

also looks like a losing/game over cut scene, if it were to fade out

I mean obviously they’re gonna celebrate

I meant though, that they are with American guns, gears, entering airport with American aircraft, even dressed on American uniforms.

So it looks like call of duty victory scene, based on the context that you are playing as an American in those games.

For a visual 180, watching them shoot into the air in their robe garb and what not into the night looks like the opposite.

Both are their victory tho

Is it really a loss if Taliban changed? The naddering nebobs of negativity is just noise and domestic US politics. What decides if this is a total loss is how Taliban manages to govern. Taliban's conduct and human rights. Hell, Saudi women couldn't even drive or leave the house without a male chaperone in 2001, now they can. Western societies that are liberal weren't always this way even 20 years ago gay people didnt have equality. People change. We shall see.
