Thought it was pretty good. Quite good, all in all. Would not want a job like that...

Modern Day Alamo.

Michael Bay Directed.

Ha.

Haven't watched it but honestly I just have no interest in watching army movies anymore. It just seems so overdone at this point.

Never heard of it but that trailer looked good. I'm not sure how I feel about Jim Halbert being in it. Does he do a good job?

I liked it. It started a lil slow but it was a good watch. Krasinski did a pretty good job, forgot it was him for a bit.

Jim from the office is in it. See quote under username.

Yes of course I saw it. It was dominant as fire

ive seen it and read the book.

its done so god damn well. and right now theres a perfect stream on the amazon stick if you have a jailbroken one. its a hell of a feels ride though.

It's a decent watch , ended up streaming it but wish I caught it in theaters

I recently watched American Sniper for the first time, and the heart of that movie was Chris and his wife's relationship, as well as the PTSD.

The battlescenes bored me.

This Bengazi movie looks like it's going to bore me, and I'm well versed in the actual events. Adding Michael Bay's style doesn't seem like it'd add any credibility.

That said, as stated, I haven't seen it.

I watched the movie full expecting Michael Bay to use some artistic license with the story, but I found the film to be pretty true to the book.

I didn't know of any of the actors in it. (didn't even watch the trailer).

Technically, and by technically I mean film-technically I thought it was done really well if you look and consider how complex getting the quality of the scenes would be to make look as good.

Info-wise I can't say how accurate it was to what specifically happened. It's a politically charged incident and I thought Bay was trying not to commentate too much one way or the other.

It looked to be more from the perspective of the security operators, which as I mentioned in my first post would not be a fun job in places like Libya, etc....

Seems like it was railroaded through the theatres which is a shame, good work went into this film, its not some shake n bake hack job. Professional filmaking.

Mmmmmhmmm.. might check it out sometime.

I've been checking my Directv PPV list for this movie and haven't seen it pop up yet. I will be checking it out soon though.

Looking to see this one soon, sounds like maybe Michael Bay made a movie that doesn't suck

I watched it. It was pretty good but I'm getting sick of these military hero movies.

I saw this last night and really liked it. It's not as good as Black Hawk Down, but it definitely has that same feel. I was expecting the action to be over the top considering the director, but I was glad to be proven wrong. It really wasn't political, again, like BHD, it just told the story. Jim Halpert did a much better job than I expected. I'd give it an 8/10 and I'll watch it again for sure.

It doesn't feel like a Bay movie watching it. Feels more like what Bruckheimer did with Black Hawk Down.

Surprisingly Bay doesn't politicize much and it is 100% from the POV of the security operators given the way the CIA Chief is portrayed.

It made me more sad/angry about the whole situation if fucking politics/bureaucracy is really want caused the hold up for everything. Utter horse-shit if so and those that did the "well, we need to check" first shit need to lose their damn jobs.
