Crime 12 Police Officers shot, 5 fatally, by snipers during BLM protest in downtown Dallas (Part 1)

How can you blame them at this point? I'm loathe to say that but it's the truth.

You can't blame them but they shouldn't do it. We have to stand by our police officers but we have to request for some sort of change.

A few bad apples became an orchard and people are willing to engage in guerrilla warfare in it.

That cop in Minnesota fucked this up for everyone.

he "sliced the pie." This doesn't seem to be a run of the mill ganbanger, street thug, or sjw militant variety. This dude(s) knew what they were doing, and to coordinate this attack in such a short time if using those 2 recent cop on black shootings as a motivator, well that's very frightening.
Yep dude moved like he had training the moment the cop took cover he was on the move to take him out.

Well, this event doesn't justify us having military units patrolling our streets, and at this point the load outs would likely be exactly the same as what I had in the service. That's no bueno on American streets my man.

It's not as much the equipment as much as it's the mentality shift that comes along with the people that wear it.

I think it's safe to say it wasn't peaceful

I would say yes. I know guys that have never served that take tactical classes from Master level firearm instructors that served and they can't move that precisely/well thought out. 100% ex military and I would wager at the VERY least they were infantry. No way an office clerk in the Army can move that way with their only experience with a gun being basic.

Maybe, but maybe not. We've seen guys that play tons of video games that have racked up huge kill numbers. That may sound nuts but it is what it is. We live in a different time now.

So because some dickhead did some horrible shit I should shut my mouth about police brutality ? I dont hate cops and it doesnt shock me that several of them died in the line protecting people that hate them because I think most cops are decent dudes doing the best they can. That said to me this incident says police brutality is an issue and the growing battle lines of us vs them are an issue and that we need to discuss it and work it out now more than ever before more o this bullshit happens ? Communities need to start to see the police as part o them and not oppressors and we might need to tweak a few laws and procedures and have several community talks to get there maybe ?

Im upset dude I dont like any of the things I have seen this week and I really dont know how to fix it but its clear as day to me that something isnt working the way it should
Did I say "shut your mouth about police brutality"? Did I? Please, if I did point it out.

What I AM saying in that post however is those prattling on using their Hollywood/celebrity status to try and bring attention to the problems of police brutality will be oddly mum on the fact that if this event tonight was in response to police brutality it is the wrong way to go about it was what I was at least INTENDING to say/convey.

You should try Azealia Banks or Tila Tequila.

Speaking of the latter, do you guys and xers think I should apply?

I try to avoid celeb and pop culture like the plague, but sometimes it creeps up on you like in these instances here. Yuck.

From CNN.com:

Dallas police are negotiating with a suspect at a parking garage in downtown Dallas, Chief David Brown said. Police have been exchanging gunfire with the suspect for 45 minutes.
"The suspect has told our negotiators that the end is coming," Brown said.
The suspect said more officers are going to be hurt, and added that there are bombs placed in downtown Dallas.

This is definitely a dilemma. How shitty can a person be until they become unfuckable? This definitely is a perfect example. Tila is trash.

I see it a different way. There are some petty squabbles going on, but when you step back & look at it everyone seems united against this as a horror, with some differing angles on the 'why's and 'what to do about it's. But everyone is more or less together as a community who loathes this news. Literally only had to ban one person. I think that's a pretty good ratio and speaks to the common goodness of people we all take for granted.

i believe in the goodness of people. we all should strive for hope, love, and the elevation of all. the majority of people in this thread would hold the door for me. . . i don't think that's the issue though. i sense a dissonance between poster [some posters] and such an event, and a reaffirming of ignorant thoughts, too, therefore i find it hard to understand why someone like the other TS was banned. the guy was just as douchey as some of the posters i've seen post within this new thread.

Snoop confirmed for the DNC convention for Hillary Clinton (not a joke)

Disgraceful. And by Bz and Cz he must mean bloods and crips, two extremely violent gangs. Why do people like this man? He should receive the same treatment as neonazis and kkk members get.

And people are still "protesting"

This is really bizarre

Suspects tried to get away so to me that rules out Islamic terrorism for now

Don't think it's BLM because this would only serve to severely undermine their "cause", plus it's far too organized

Thought the tactical proficiency might suggest ex-military, Tim McVeigh type anti-gov domestic terrorists trying to incite a war between government and BLM. Then I saw that at least one of the suspects is explosive

Explosive or not, I'd still be surprised if they're affiliated with BLM

Trying to think of other deliberate attacks on law enforcement... Eric Dorner comes to mind. Perhaps these are ex-LEOs waging a personal vendetta?

Perhaps this is just one phase of a larger multiphase plan, similar to the DC Snipers

Whatever the motive, these aren't a couple of people impulsively lashing out in response to the Louisiana/Minnesota shooting. There had to be some prior training and planning involved. Might mean they've just been waiting for the right time to do this; perhaps the police shootings and subsequent protests presented a prime opportunity to disguise their identity/motive by using those shootings and BLM to run interference for them.

More garbage. Blame Obama and bring up islam. Some of the posters in this thread should be disgusted with themselves.

not blaming obama. just don't likee his tone or his message.

when america cant agree this is disgusting 100% and there is no excuse.....we have a problem.

americans are openly celebrating home grown terrorism.

Suspect still at large in parking garage, or is cnn update just really late to the game?

Garbage sites like Huffington Post are definitely part of the problem.
