The criminal justice system is to blame due to the influx of previous offenders into society. They don't have enough prisons to hold all criminals in each state. Thus how can the cop or suspect be wrong. If they release a guy early he will commit crimes and the police will have to arrest them for the umpteenth time. I don't think so, something has to give in the end. Unfortunately many people have to die due to the incompetence of the laws governing our country.

Not to be contrarian but the United States is #1 in the entire world for locking people up. We have more prisoners than the worst of the worst regimes around the world. We have more prisoners than China who has a population of 1.5 billion people. We are the absolute APEX of law making and imprisoning people so its kinda funny you say we don't have enough prisons.

Nothing seems to bring the worst out of the War Room like a mass shooting.

I see it a different way. There are some petty squabbles going on, but when you step back & look at it everyone seems united against this as a horror, with some differing angles on the 'why's and 'what to do about it's. But everyone is more or less together as a community who loathes this news. Literally only had to ban one person. I think that's a pretty good ratio and speaks to the common goodness of people we all take for granted.

Pretty soon, blm will cause lives of black people to not matter. Let's be real, in the most extreme case of push to shove -- the powers at be, the majority, the holders of the gold -- won't side with the minority.

Side note: this event will make cops even more trigger happy, thus further hurting the cause of those who want to reduce deaths by cops (and black deaths) but fuelling the case of those who want more race tensions. Like a good part of BLM and White Supremacists.
