Cops here in Jacksonville all have an M4 and a shotgun in every squad car.

I hate to say it, but that might have to be standardized among all major cities.

It's possible police died tonight because they only had handguns.

I disagree with justifying but the celebrities and politicians that have been ranting and raving for months about cops all being racist will be silent tomorrow and ignore how cops were shielding and protecting those protesting... well... cops and that at least as of now 4 have died in the shootings.

Given my job I am now friends with about 5-6 sheriff deputies, 3 local cops, 1 state patrolman, and a couple DHS, DEA, and Seattle PD guys. Like, we work out together, go shooting at the range together from time to time and such.

When shit like this starts up I worry for them.

The criminal justice system is to blame due to the influx of previous offenders into society. They don't have enough prisons to hold all criminals in each state. Thus how can the cop or suspect be wrong. If they release a guy early he will commit crimes and the police will have to arrest them for the umpteenth time. I don't think so, something has to give in the end. Unfortunately many people have to die due to the incompetence of the laws governing our country.

Where TF have you been? People on twitter and facebook are celebrating this shit, posters here have confirmed this. And the only thing BLM has said so far is that they are not involved, no condolences, no thanks to the officers who shielded them.
