The difference between that and what was happening in that video would be if a person wanted to say grace over his/her meal, made it a public announcement, asked everyone to bow their heads and remain silent during the prayer, then prayed very publicly and loudly. Honestly, that probably wouldn't bother me as much as blocking traffic. French Muslims in certain cities have started doing the same thing, claiming that there isn't enough room in the mosque and given the right to pray in the streets. Of course, this is becoming a quasi-public spectacle, as people from out of town are now traveling there to pray in the streets. Give them an inch...
