It's just based on the last year and his first boxing fight was 2023, I think he made closer to $20m than $30m based on what his former management said, still a hell of a lot of money though.

The UFC brand being above any fighter started from in its inception with SEG. That's why the Fertittas have explicitly stated many times that they purchased a brand, not a fight company - they could have just started their own promotion if the groundwork laid by SEG wasn't so important.

I know it has nothing to do with MMA but Ben Simmons being on this list is terrible. One of the great grifts in NBA history.

It comes down to advertising time and the size of the American market id say.

Your average NFL game has 18 commercial breaks over 3 or 4 hours? A soccer game only has one break at half time.

Plus you got a market of 330million in the United States, the UK population is 70million although the Premier League is watched around the world.

The average player salary in the Premier League is higher than the NFL, I guess there's just more superstars.

NBA crushes all the salaries though, maybe cos of smaller team sizes?

Boxing fans haven't been completely blackpilled by PPV prices like MMA fans have. Honestly, all of boxing has Turki to thank for saving them from the brink and forcing the fights people actually wanted to watch.
