Also Francis fought Fury in 2023, so if this list is for 2024 that won't be counted for him. What's the lowest amount on the list?

Dana has never been the number 1 at the UFC. It wasn't him who 'made it all about the brand'. Casuals can be mistaken for making everything about Dana, but Shitdoggers should know better.
The UFC brand being above any fighter started from in its inception with SEG. That's why the Fertittas have explicitly stated many times that they purchased a brand, not a fight company - they could have just started their own promotion if the groundwork laid by SEG wasn't so important.
And leaked emails show the extent to which they had always been insistent on keeping the fighters down (and all Dana did was cheer them on like the lackey he was). Real mob stuff. Now Ari is just running with their model.
It comes down to advertising time and the size of the American market id say. They must not pay very many international soccer players the big bucks relative to American sports. There are clearly way more soccer players all over the world than anything else, but that list looks like it's only 12% soccer. Almost everything else is American sports.
The only way a UFC fighter gets on that list is if a transcendent commercial talent like Conor comes around. But Conor's star has fallen into the toilet, and he will never be on that list again.
I don't know if another one of those will ever come around again since Dana has made it all about the brand.
Boxing fans haven't been completely blackpilled by PPV prices like MMA fans have. Honestly, all of boxing has Turki to thank for saving them from the brink and forcing the fights people actually wanted to watch. No surprise at all. MMA is very niche.
There's only 8 different sports in there.
And two of them (tennis and F1) have only three guys combined.
Honestly I can't understand how those boxers can generate that much money.
