In the Octagon wrestlers.

In terms of the business side of the UFC strikers. Grappling based fighters def aren't on the same playing field as strikers and they have to do more to get the same oppurtunities for obv reasons.

Usually it's been the wrestlers who squeak by although there's been a shift this past year. The most recent example being Lewis over Nelson. It seems judges are more willing to give the round to whoever has thrown the most effective strikes in the event a fighter in top control does little damage and makes minimal effort to improve position.

It isn't a good comparison, because the strikers are mostly not the best in the world or the US, while the wrestlers are, and there are so many more wrestlers.

This debate won't be solved until we see more strikers at a higher level, but we won't. Guys like Wilder, Fury, Tyson, Lewis, Kiltchko, etc. will never waste their time with MMA.

Over the whole course of the UFC... Who has come out on top? It has always seemed the octagon cage traditionally favored the wrestler.
