Would Ngannou beat Jones at HW?

Jones is likely much more skilled but Ngannou would have size, power and probably strength on him, would be interesting for sure but I would lean towards the much more experienced Jones.

In terms of wrestling the reality of Jones/Cormier is that Jon focused on neutralising Cormiers wrestling until he gassed midway though the fight and then controlled him in the clinch although had hardly any actual top control.

Early Jones was certainly fun to watch wrestling wise throwing Bonnar around but I don't think his performances really suggest that he's some kind of super wrestler. He took down and beat up Sonnen but then again so did Rashad.

The big problem I think he'd have in a match like this is facing a large fast opponent with power. So much of his success at LHW depends on keeping people at range and indeed on his chin as his boxing actually isn't that great, you simply can't be taking the best shots of guys like Ngannou, JDS, Stipe, etc.

I think we can agree Jones would beat Ngannou.
