Would a MMA or fitness gym be open to hiring someone to teach wrestling technique?

Some will, however, in most bjj places, the wrestling class is a ghost town. Gyms offer it if they already have a ranked bjj guy who wrestles.

Dunno in our gym the wrestling class usually is the most overcrowded. A lot of MMA guys attend it tho.
It's MMA oriented tho (and the wrestling coach does MMA only not BJJ), it would be awesome to have a wrestling for half guard players instead of a class for MMA.

I'm just asking in general but I am in NY.

I am sure an MMA gym or BJJ gym will love a takedown instructor that is has the credentials you have. Will probably come down to how much you charge.

Our coach offers local college wrestlers a trade for coaching and bjj classes. I notice most schools around dont have wrestling and it is usually one of the things that separates our school in competitions
