Why Till deserves the next title shot

RDA has beaten better opposition and was the champion in the weight below. Beating Robbie is a much bigger deal than beating Cowboy.

Whatever this 'eye test' nonsense is, it's wrong, maybe it just means the TS needs glasses.
Cerrone went neck and neck with Lawler. I'm a huge Lawler fan but he has been on a slow but sure decline starting with Condit fight.

Till is on the rise and "never the Twain shall meet". No fighter not even RDA is on the rise the way Till is. If anything RDA is getting older and he lucked out against a guy with a leg injury.

Eye test...lol. I think Till would beat up Tyron Woodley, but that doesn't mean he's earned his shot yet. I want to see him against 1 lay-n-pray specialist and 1 stand-n-bland specialist first.
Cerrone is stand n bland. No-one wants to see Colby fight anyone, especially not the future of the WW division, Darren Till.

He beat Cerrone more cleanly than Masvidal did. Most folks here were clamoring for Jorge to get the title shot.
Honestly that WB loss is too fresh for Masvidal, unfortunately Covington is likely the most deserving (as much as I despise the prick) followed by RDA and then maybe Till or Usman if we’re looking at winning streaks.

hes on a terrible deal atm. wasnt he 20k/20k in the cerone fight? why should he lead ppvs on that?

Give Till to Maia. Either he knocks Maia in to retirement or he ends up on the ground and it's bye bye prospect.

Maia is in the sunset of his career. No need to use him to knock off exciting contenders unless you really hate them.

Beating Cerrone in 2017 shouldn't net you a title shot anyway, though.

It's called the eye test and there is precedent for it. Chris Weidman springs to mind. KZ, Cody Garbrandt, and obviously Bisping as well.
I don't care which fighter has 2 or 3 top middling top ten wins. The fighter to beat right now is Till.
I think he needs to fight The Racist Snitch, to see if he can handle a Lay-N-Pray fighter.

Beating Mark Munoz shouldn't have given Weidman the title shot. It was the MANNER in which Till looked completely unstoppable. No fighter has looked that impressive all year.

Is this a troll or did Till really look that good? It was his first big fight.

he needs a little more seasoning. people always underestimating tyron.

Maias the perfect fight for till, ranked fighter which pushs his name into the upper echelon of the div and we get to see his level of clinch/grappling.if he cant beat him then the last thing he deserves is a ts

RDA has more top 10 wins at WW in the past 6 months than Till has in his entire career. One win against a LW with a combat age of 49 doesn't get you a title shot. He isn't any of those people you listed

FFS, let him beat somebody besides a fading, blown up Cowboy first. And I like Cowboy. But he needs to go back down to 155 and learn how to not take big shots right on his battle-worn chin.

Till is gonna beat the shit out of Tyron Woodley if they fight.
Honestly, what makes him better than Wonderboy? Till is nowhere near ready for that fight now. He has promise, though. Maybe in a year or two...

Maybe Masvidal softened up Cowboy's chin for Till first? Cowboy got more fucked up in that fight than he had before, or even after for that matter.

So what about Till's style makes him beat Woodley unlike Wonderboy?
He has more power period, and is more fluid. That karate bullshit won't work against an opponent with better distance control, power, and striking.
