Why isn't Conor defending his belt at UFC 209 when he's literally in Vegas w/o pregnant Dee

It is a good question though why is there an interim belt when Conor just KO'd Alvarez last week. Eddie is still unconscious and they're doing an interim belt. The UFC is desperate for numbers that only Conor can produce.

He fought four times in eleven months, he deserves a break regardless of if he won against Eddie or not. Every other person's favorite fighter fights two to three times a year max and takes months and months off between fights, but when Conor does it suddenly it's a big deal.
 
First, the UFC is NOT a professional sports organization. It is just a reincarnation of the old Toughman Contests that used to be on TV years ago. In a REAL professional sports organization, matches are made based on fighter rankings - not money-grubbing audience draw. In a real MMA professional sports organization, they don't bring in street-fighters, former champions or athletes from other sports to fight in headline events. THAT'S WHAT THE WWE DOES and they are as phony as can be.
Conor McGregor HAS NEVER DEFENDED ANY TITLE HE HAS EVER HELD. He LIED to us fans by saying he wanted to take time off for the birth of his child. What he REALLY wanted to do is commercials and movies and make more bizarre fights where he didn't have to defend any of his titles. In a REAL PROFESSIONAL SPORTS ORGANIZATION, a champion is REQUIRED to defend his title within a reasonable length of time OR FORFEIT his title. There are MANY ranked fighters WHO HAVE A RIGHT to advance towards a title fight. McGregor has stopped all their amibitions and careers with his selfishness.

I'm not saying it's gospel, but the story is apparently that Dee doesn't do well mentally when Conor has a fight and Conor didn't want to stress her out during the pregnancy for the health of the baby

IT was all a facade so he didn't have to fight Khabib.

The Floyd fight is simply a way to continue this facade so he still doesn't have to fight Khabib.

He will be stripped of the title soon enough.
 
You know fighting is more than just showing up on fight night right? There's a thing called a training camp before a fight that generally last 8-12 weeks.

Just because he happens to be in Vegas the same time frame doesn't magically give him a training camp out of thin air.
