Why does DC want to go into deep...

You are the one who misunderstood my post and equated Jones with God.

Jones is stripped. And DC is still fighting for strap.

So drink your Capri Sun and chill.

{<huh} .
You said at the bottom where is your God now? How am I supposed to guess where that phrase comes from?did You meanJones or God or just a phrase from a show?

Depression? Stipe just handled a silver back gorilla( figure of speech only, so don't go Woodly on me), and took Ford Escort service to the face going full speed and still survived! DC will be like a small cat trying to fight a lion! In conclusion, DC is asking for trouble because there is nothing that he can do that will change the outcome of his demise! My only hope is the bold bastard won't interview him when he wakes up, because this time around DC won't be a meme, he will be the joke of the MMA world! Tune in after this sad nonessential fight is over!

DC actually has a full set of skills and his go to is more than anyone besides Jones has been able to handle. I hope he can make it interesting by wrestling for a few rounds, maybe tire Stipe out.

I do think I'd pick Stipe when this fight happens though. I'd pick DC against Ngannou though. Especially having seen what Stipe was able to do against him.

DC will most likely lose the fight, but that's all he loses. He is getting paid well, he gets extra exposure to the casual fan via his stint on TUF, he is moving up in weight class not weight (so no cut) which will improve his cardio even more. He is also the best grappler Stipe has ever faced, and he had great success at HW.

The biggest problem I see for Cormier is that Stipe's wrestling is good enough to make takedowns problematic for DC, and because Stipe is one of the few fighters in the sport capable of KOing people moving backwards, Cormiers T-Rex Arms may not grab Stipe before he gets blasted.

Stipe has legit one punch power. Just because he broke his KO streak with Francis doesn't mean DC doesn't start it up again.

I like both guys, so I'm not going to pick a favorite. Best case scenario for me is Stipe wins and Cormier goes back to LHW with a larger fanbase and mad respect given for having the balls to step up to the greatest HW champ in UFC history. Then he fights Jones with renewed confidence.
