Why did Islam stop his brutal trash talk towards Volk?

After Islam beat Charles at UFC 280, he brutally insulted Volk and called him out for a fight. At the time, I was shocked and appalled by Islam’s trash talk and it bordered on abuse. When Islam said “where is this short guy, where?” I literally gasped. Calling someone out for being “short” is a form of discrimination no different than racism, sexism, or ageism. Heightism should not be allowed in the UFC and I felt an apology was in order. I’m usually cool with typical UFC trash talk but I feel Islam crossed the line there. However, I am curious to know what made Islam stop the psychological warfare.

He is a devout muslim and it is against their religion to talk trash if they want to adhere to their religious beliefs. Some muslims are more flexible than others. Christians should be the same way but....

Volk lost the fight according to UFC judging but he won by Dagestani schoolyard rules. It is a shame that rematch will be a short notice fight. Volk will be the one of the GOATs if he can pull this off.
