Why are MM and Bisping allowed to duck #1 contenders but not GDR?

Are you being a smart ass by acting stupid? TJ isn't the number one contender for MM.
 
They both are legit undisputed champions, GDR fought another 135er on a losing streak, then refused to fight the only 145er in the UFC.
 
In all fairness 'Ping should be stripped too, or at least given a warning by Marc Goddard for timidity
 
Because she isn't a mover of needles. When she won there were needles all over the world that didn't move. Even heroin addicts kept their needles motionless on the table until the day she won the title ended. Tattoos weren't inked. IVs weren't administered. Vaccines werent injected. Blankets weren't knitted. The needles just wouldn't move.
 
Because nobody cares about GDR and she has no legacy in MMA. I mean...she's 7-3 in MMA.

Also, TJ is not ranked at 125.

The answer is even easier.

The woman has zero leverage. She won the belt without beating anyone who held a belt and has never defended the belt. She also has very few fans.

If they strip Bisping he'll kick up a fuss, call the next "champion" a "paper champion" and have half of the fanbase agree with him (mostly because he'll be right).

Ditto for MM. You're going to strip the guy who has dominated the division for a record number of title defenses? And give the belt to whom? Will anyone actually consider this new champion the true champion? Doubtful.

But you take the belt from GDR who, like any champion who receives a belt after a random win against a random opponent, is in essence a paper champion herself, and give it to Cyborg, are people going to complain about that? Are people going to dismiss Cyborg as the legit champion because she never had to go through the woman who was gifted a belt out of nowhere?

God, no. The division moves on.

They are smart about thier ducking they dont say it out right.

MM will say dana is treating me badly or some BS. so he can duck TJ, while its clear as day its the best fight for him and everyone involved infact they are doing him a favour if anything.

Bisbing says he is trying to fight GSP or some money fight BS, while being injured.

Its all about finesse.

conor is going to fight one of the GOAT fighters in boxing, thats been undefeated.

MM is trying to fight some unknown that has missed weight and is 2-1 in last 3? forgot his name.

Title shots should be determined by how many anonymous stoners can remember watching their fights.

So if MM wants to compete against the #1 Ping Pong player it is OK to you?

He is the champion, he should defend his title. If not, he should be stripped.
It's not that difficult if you wanna have a competent and credible MMA promotion

As much as i do not like the situation of fighters being stripped as i want them to lose the belt the right way i gotta agree with this.
 
Lol @ people saying TJ isn't the #1 contender. He's #2 in a higher division, if he makes weight at FLW then he's automatically the #1 contender by default
