1 win at mw vs contriversial champ for interem title not the real belt.

Anderson's best wins are Chael Sonnen 2x, Henderson, and Vitor.
Okami, Marquat, Cote, Maia, Leites, Irvin, Griffin, Bonnar, Leben, Lutter...I mean really? A lot of these guys are great fighters, but most of them journeymen whom never held a title in the first place except Griffin.
GSP > Silva
Okay follow along now...
Evan Tanner def David Terrel
Rich Franklin def Evan Tanner
Silva beat Franklin
Weidman beat Silva
Rockhold beat Weidman
Bisping beat Rockhold
GSP beat Bisping
As of right now GSP is technically the lineal MW champion and never fought for the interim.
Silva haters have absolutely no clue what they're talking about. Like this goof doesn't even mention Rich Franklin who at the time was touted to be MW GOAT, or Marquardt who was the next big thing and everyone believes would have reigned if it wasn't for Silva. Or Hayato Sakurai who he probably never heard of, who was #1 P4P when Silva destroyed him @ WW.
Haters of the GOAT can't be taken seriously.
Not to mention they also then call Forrest a "can", even though he was only one fight removed from beating Shogun and Rampage.
Oh shut up GSP had a far bigger influence then Silva did on the sport and sold better. Silva barely spoke english and almost got put on the prelims by Dana because of his bullshit against Leites and Maia. Chael was a huge boost in Silvas career. That's a lie.
GSP fanboys made up this lie to justify their fanaticism to a guy who couldn't put the spectacles Silva was showcasing while the CHANGED the sport. GSP's contribution to MMA is none, he was a fighter like all others, boring, nothing outstanding and his competition was inferior to what Anderson faced.
If it wasn't so, GSP could easily have stopped the weight cut and fought at MW. He didn't because he knew it was easier to fight oversized LWs.

No , your talking about what they were to fans, and GSP clearly was more as he sold more. It doesnt matter what his "role was" he was more exciting to watch but that didn't translate to fans wanting to see him fight.I'm talking about how modern MMA is practiced, not about theatrics.
LOL, "spoke english". He could be mute: his role was to give the spectacles he gave, not speak.

Also lol @ TS statistic manipulation. Being aware that Anderson has more top 10 wins than GSP he opts to only mention top 5 wins which GSP happens to have more of, not realizing that there is a thin like between guys ranked #6/7 and guys @ #5/4.
GSP fans have always been nerds obsessed with statistics and try to spin everything in their man's favor.
How the hell did Silva have a greater impact on how the sport is practiced come on now your just talking out of your ass and im actually a huge Silva fan. More and more people trained like GSP, well rounded guys with cardio who could wrestle and strike and win rounds . Silva didnt evolve anything he was unique and there was no point in trying to emulate him. Modern MMA is guys who from the beggining train everything, there is less and less specialists like anderson so no he didnt revolutionize anything like you say.You are putting words in my mouth. I never said that.
I stated that Silva had a much greater impact on how the sport is practiced and how it evolved, than GSP who practiced an orthodox and bureaucratic version of MMA.
One of the reasons Conor was so popular is that he brought back some of the magic of watching Silva.
My points are purely technical: I don't care for numbers, PPV, the popularity contest.
All I see is you trying to manipulate stats. Also lol @ TS statistic manipulation. Being aware that Anderson has more top 10 wins than GSP he opts to only mention top 5 wins which GSP happens to have more of, not realizing that there is a thin like between guys ranked #6/7 and guys @ #5/4.

That's your opinion, I like to favorNo that's the GSP fan's way.
What's funny is your guy doesn't even have the stats that matter the most, silva does. Longest title defense streak, longest UFC winning streak, beaten most ranked opponents, most amount of finishes against ranked opponents etc. who wins in these simple, clear categories?
