I felt Shields and Fitch were close.....but shields was just a bit better.....

Id say Shields was the best #2 if we are only including guys who were never #1.....

Shields never had to fight at MW.....he just did it so Nick could have WW.....

to clear up any other confusion, i consider Rory the worlds #1 ww....his resume AND his in cage performance merit him more than a w/l record with no context.....

I cant count DC....he has too much of a logical claim to being #1 at certain times.....

Im not referring to drug use; that makes no difference to me as i believe they are all on PEDs.....

But when Jones got himself suspended for other misconduct, he was just gone too long to have a rightful claim to #1 in the division the whole time he was gone...........
