Who is excited for the Galaxy S8?

I'm still using a Nexus 4 from four years ago:

Fuck paying a fortune for incremental gains.

I'll upgrade when augmented reality comes out.

But I want my porn on a bigger screen and since I am old and deaf I need some big speakers.

well of course in a perfect world, but what about a quick fwap at work ?

Prob close to if not larger than 6" screen - it will basically have a 2x1 screen ratio

so this is not as large as the Note or Pixel XL?

I do need a new android phone. I use the note now as I'm a fablet guy.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are expected to sport 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Super AMOLED pressure sensitive displays respectively, with QHD+ display resolutions (2400x2960 pixels . Samsung Galaxy S8 is pegged to have a dual-edged curved display with almost negligible bezel and 18:9 aspect ratio; the display may be named 'Infinity Display'.

Pixel XL is 5.5 inch. Note 4 was 5.7, not sure what the note 5 - 7 was.

i use an iphone 6s but it bothers me these fucking screens keep getting bigger with every apple and samsung new phone

The good thing with these newer phones (LG G6 and Galaxy S8) is that the screen may be larger, but the phone itself hasn't gotten any bigger. Screen is just taking up more of the phone :)

Was really hoping for a full 4k display on it but other than that I'm looking forward to it

'meh. Never owned even a regular cell phone let alone an expensive smart phone. I have never seen the need to stay connected to the world, especially when I don't want to.

Sounds like they're copying dell's infinity edge display.

I'm due for an upgrade in August and will probably get an S8. Any other performance news?

iPhone 7 Plus Master Race Crew checking in.

I am pretty pumped for the Galaxy S8. I bounce back and forth between Android and iOS a lot - being in I.T., I like to use both often just to stay up to date on their OSs. Just got the iPhone 7 Plus when it came out last fall (had the iPhone 6 Plus before that (Note 4 before that (Nexus 5 before that (Galaxy S3 before that (iPhone 4 before that (Droid X before that (Original Droid before that (Blackberry Curve before that (LG Dare before that (Samsung Alias before that (Moto Razr x2 before that (Kyocera flip phone before that))))))))))))

Anyways, my body is ready for it.

Anyone else's body ready for the Galaxy S8?

Iphone SE, I like the size of the SE, am not into large phones. Have a 6S as a business phone which rarely get out of my car.
I had a S3 back in the days but didn't like it, was feeling the IOS was much more user friendly at the time, but seems like now they are pretty much on the same level.
What's your opinion on the Huawei phones, are they good? don't know anyone who own one.
