Whiskey, War, Suicide, and Guns

Did 30 minutes of cardio yesterday, 4mph @ 4% grade. BPM ~115.

Planned on waking up @ 5am and doing my deadlift workout, alarm rang, I sat up, wiped the crusties from my eyes, next thing I open my eyes and it's 7:00am and I'm going to be late for work. That means I'll have to do it tonight, and with Wednesday being international leg day I'll have to fight the hordes for a rack or platform. It's my light deload week though, so it's not a big deal if I have to wait around. If it's hard workout I hate being around all those retards which is why I usually do my deadlift and squat workouts in the morning.

lol @ 76 reps

I wanted 100, goddamnit, but my arms were dead and I racked it because I coudlnt bring myself to do the roll of shame with 95 pounds on the bar in front the guy squatting 450 pounds.

international leg day?

Monday is bench press day, wednesday is leg day, friday is back day at my gym. I have learned to schedule my workouts to avoid needing the equipment used by the masses on these days.

what kind of gym do you go to?

It's a Powerhouse Gym, mostly bodybuilders. A few of them are pretty serious and huge, so it's not a total dick off place, about as hard core as a chain gym can get. I'm not sure why everyone does the same damn thing on the same day.

Found a powerlifting competition March 29, 2008. Gives me about 20 weeks or so to get my ass into shape which should be about perfect. Ass busting starts next week.

sweet. have you ever done more than that bench comp before?

Yes, in high school every year my school hosted a "Powermeet" for all the high school football teams in the area. My senior year I did 385/290/405, way back in spring 2001. I was a plump 235 pound center then, lol.

I guess I should make clear, a lift noted with a "PR" in this log is a PR in terms of from when this log was started. If I compared my current lifts with the old fat ass Donut I would probably kill myself, so I'm starting with a fresh perspective.

As a side note, since I started taking Cissus two weeks ago my right shoulder has started to feel incredibly good. I think I'm sold on it.

Other supps I am currently taking:

Beta-Alinine
Creatine
ZMA
Fish Oil
Multi Vitamin

These are pretty much all the time for the past few months, Cissus will now become part of the rotation.

I need to get some of this Cissus.

Nice push press PR, btw.

Gracias, and yeah cissus is cheap, legal, and works well. At least until the big supp comapnies get ahold of it and sell it in tin cans with half naked bitches licking it on commercials and suddenly it costs $70 a pound.

So this job came across my desk at work today:

http://www.ambassadorbridge.com/

I thought this was pretty cool since it's a major international project, only 1.5 hours from where I live. I'm a part of something that matters *tear*

The bad part: overtime that may cut into my lifting. No es bueno.
