I'm not saying they're bad films, theyre just overrated.

I like the list but would argue both Monority Report and Inception are where they should be. Both unique, extremely well crafted and shot.

Die Hard 3. It's an above average action film...way worse than Die Hard 2 and everyone thinks it is better.

Some real mediocre stuff has been nominated for Best Picture lately. Women Talking, Triangle of Sadness, The Fabelmans, Avatar 2, etc. Chicago winning best picture 20 years ago or whenever was trash.

I can think of a number of movies that I like but everyone else seems to like them substantially more than I do. John Wick, Minority Report, The Deer Hunter, several others.

Just watched Deer Hunter and that has got to be the most absurd plot ever.

SPOILER ALERT if you havent seen Deer Hunter, but it has been out for like 5 decades, so...

Agreed other then the Bardem sets it wasn't really great. Never got all the accolades. Bardem was really good as his character but it ended at that for me

As someone who thinks the first movie almost completely deserves it's praise as a masterpiece, I agree that the second one does drag.

It's just not as interesting as the first one, and splicing the Vito Prequel stuff in with the present day just made the film crawl.

They should of made 2 movies 1 with the rise of Vito and then the sequel.

GF 1 was better but 2 was indeed pretty good. The Vito part imo was just alot better than the Michael part (which was good not great).

If they would have made a movie just on the rise of Vito n fleshed it out more it would have been greatness imo

But Pacino was corny as fuck in it.. for folks to claim it is one of the best cop-crime movies of all time is hilarious to me.

LOTR Return of the king. The battle scenes drag on and on and on. They are corny and cliche. The rest of the movie is good. I loved the movie when I was a teenager but cant stomach the whole thing now.

Fellowship was the best of the three, I can still watch that one

One of Deniros others immediately comes to mind - Goodfellas.

Like I said, I didn’t dislike it - I just thought it was very wacky. Pacino’s character ruined too many scenes to take it seriously.

Yea when its all said and done I like Fellowship the most.

Everytime I watch that I find something different, I didn't get.
The strongest & most human (in appetite & flaws) wasn't even Ideal/Samurai.

Seventh Samurai is an all time classic and one of the greatest movies ever made. Just delete yourself forever if ya think otherwise.
