John McCarthy is the best IMO simply because he's the most consistent, unlike say Herb Dean who will stop one fight as soon as a fighter covers up, but in the next fight on the same card will allow another fighter to be battered senseless.

Goddard is good, but doesn't do too many events.

Lavigne, Yamasaki, Mazzagatti should have been replaced by the commissions a long time ago.

Just BJM. He's made some mistakes, but those are few and far between. Done it for a long time, knows the sport, trains and knows the rules. Helped in creating them. Is good at making his voice heard when necessary (also sometimes maybe unnecessary). I feel the fighters trust him. A gem in a sea of shit.

The problem is, I only ever remember who reffed a fight if they fuck up. Honestly, I barely think about it after a fight if there were no glaring mistakes. And I'm an umpire, so I really probably should give more of a fuck. But I don't.

I find myself yelling at Mirg, BJM, Herb and Mazz the most.

Mirg should not be a ref. I worship the JBG, but his minion in black is a dangerous man. King of the late stoppage.
