Which MMA fight would of changed the landscape of MMA had it gone differently ?

GSP vs Hughes II
GSP is the prototype of the modern MMA fighter: trains in everything, and tries to always add new weapons in his arsenal.
Hughes was one of the best wrestler to fight in the octogon.
Without GSP becoming the dominent champion he was/is, training would be really different, methinks.
 
If Ronda had died when she fought Holm, Trump would never had been president.
 
Conor - Nate 2... It would have changed the UFC dramatically because Conor would essentially have lost his star power. Wouldn't have gotten his fight with Mayweather, wouldn't have been able to hold his belts hostage holding up two weight classes.
 
Maybe not change the landscape but would have to led to interesting fights and legacies:

If CroCop defeated Gonzaga

Would MMA be where it is if bjj didnt prove to be so dominant and fundamental ?

Randy Couture vs James Toney

The highest profile fight between a boxer and MMA fighter. If Toney won MMA would of lost almost all credibility.

Griffin vs Bonnar

If the fight wasnt like a drunken brawl or if it was boring or lopsided. Would UFC have grown so much ?

How bout WMMA. Would it be where it is or bigger even had Gina of beaten Cyborg ?

If co or would have KOed Diaz in the first fight, he would have then faced RDA next and KOed him instead of Alverez. Been a 2 weight champ without his 1 loss in the UFC,

if forrest vs bonnar sucked then the sport would be dead

If Chuck beat Rampage in PRIDE, he'd have beat Wanderlei to win the PRIDE grand prix. That woulda lead to the orgs unifying sooner or teaming up together to put on big fights like Fedor vs the UFC champ
 
Fedor vs Antonio Silva -- Fedor would have lost in the finals against DCormier and then I doubt DC ever moves down to 205 with a win over Fedor. Also, with no loss to Big Foot, I think the loss to Werdum would have been seen more as a fluke and he'd have tried to fight top level competition in the UFC after the SF buyout
 
If vitor would have gotten the armbar submission from jones.... who knows what would have happened and if jones would have gotten into all the trouble he's gotten into after suffering a legit loss.

Then huntington beach bad boy would be fired

Chuck wouldn't have had a signature win leaving the sport in the brink of bankruptcy

Which would mean , a then young pro boxer would've never fought in the UFC , which he has singlehandedly made it kind of mainstream
